게임 플레이 중 나오는 팁들을 정리 한 문서이다.

  • All story missions can be played on 3 different difficulties: Causal, Professional and Master.
  • A good use of the briefcase is to smuggle large illegal items past guarded areas.
  • Armed opponents are tougher in a fist fight. Make sure to follow through if you want to knock them out.
  • Actions marked with an exclamation mark are suspicious or illegal, and NPCs will react if you get spotted.
  • Attacks from the front are more noisy than attacks from behind and will attract more attention from NPCs.
  • Additional Starting Locations and Agency Pickups can be unlocked through Location Mastery, achieved by completing challenges.
  • Be wary what you do around mirrors, as NPCs can actually spot you through them.
  • Bodies hidden in closets or containers will never be found.
  • Blunt weapons will only knock out NPCs. Sharp weapons will eliminate them.
  • Breaking doors open with a crowbar, and other noisy actions, might attract NPCs and could get you into trouble.
  • Briefcases cannot be carried on pipes and ladders or while you are on ledge.
  • Civilian witnesses will run and report their knowledge to guards.
  • ?? Consider finding a new disguise if you have drawn too much attention to yourself ???
  • Complete challenges to unlock items, weapons and strategic options for your missions.
  • Certain high-profile targets will be evacuated to safe zones when on high alert.
  • Completing certain actions will reward XP to your Location and Player Mastery. The more challenging the action, the higher the reward.
  • Doing an illegal action or tresspassing in front of a surveillance camera will alert the nearest guard.
  • Don't draw attention to yourself.
  • Dead NPCs will eventually be bodybagged and dragged away.
  • Doors can be blown open using high-powered weapons. Shoot the lock!
  • Emetic poison will cause NPCs to look for place to throw up.
  • Explore a level to discover all the avaliable areas. Discovered areas are displayed on the map.
  • Getting into gunfights is often not the best approach.
  • Guards will investigate gunshots. You might get blamed if you stick around.
  • Guards will try to disarm explosives if alerted to their presence.
  • Guards investigating dead bodies might blame you for the murder if you stick around.
  • Hiding in foliage makes you harder to spot.
  • If you are seen placing a mine, it will be perceived as a suspicious act.
  • Important events and eliminations are communicated through a "Picture in Picture" view to make sure you don't miss them. 
  • Intels are pieces of information that might be useful to you.
  • Killing shots are indicated with a red cross in the reticle.
  • Locations can have multiple exits. Plan accordingly.
  • Listening in on NPC dialog might reveal useful information.
  • Most equipped items can be dropped, placed or thrown.
  • Most closets and dumpsters can hold two bodies.
  • Master assassins avoid collateral damage. Killing non-targets will severely impact your rating and score.
  • Mastery progression is shown in the statistic section of your career page in the Menu.
  • Mission Story Guides can be configured from the Gameplay Options menu or turned off completely.
  • NPCs will notice guns and explosives lying around. Guards will pick them up and take them to a safe place.
  • NPCs will use flash grenades during combat, so keep an eye out for grenades flying around and try to dodge them.
  • NPCs will pick up coins that they notice.
  • NPCs will not be fooled by a thrown item if they see you throw it.
  • Non-target eliminations affect your score negatively.
  • Once a Mission Story has been revealed, you do not need to reveal it again.
  • Plan ahead and use alternative Starting Locations to your strategic advantage.
  • Plan ahead and use Agency Pickups and hidden stashes to smuggle in items.
  • Remember to save the game manually and to make use of the autosave if something unexpected happens.
  • Remember, Elusive Targets only appear for a limited time, after which they are gone forever. Also, you can only assassinate them once.
  • Stashed items, dropped disguises and mission objectives are shown on the Map.
  • Shooting heavy, suspended objects will typically make them fall to the ground.
  • Sparks from bullet impacts can ignite gas leaks.
  • Some sniper rifles have multiple zoom levels. Others do not.
  • Sniper rifles are illegal to carry in any disguise. Conceal it in your briefcase.
  • There are often multiple ways to open locked doors.
  • There are often multiple ways to distract particularly observant guards.
  • The dots on the Mini Map indicate NPC positions and alert status.
  • Talking to certain NPCs might reveal Mission Stories.
  • Use thrown items to distract NPCs that are in your way.
  • Use instinct to observe the area a surveillance camera covers.
  • Using Instinct highlights interaction possibillities and traversal options.
  • Unconscious NPCs might still have knowledge about you.
  • Wearing appropriate disguises will sometimes make it legal to perform certain actions.
  • Wearing an appropriate disguise allows you to Blend In.
  • Wearing a guard disguise allows you to be visibly armed.
  • When creating a Contract, you're able to unmark previously marked Targets.
  • When recorded by a security camera, destroy the evidence for a better score.
  • When hunted, you can hide in a closet or a dumpster to elude pursuers and wait for them to give up.
  • Water puddles and electricity is a dangerous combination.
  • You can use the crowd to blend in and aviod threats.
  • You can configure most HUD elements in the Options menu.
  • You can still acquire disguises from bodybags or hidden NPCs.
